Do you think im a bad kisser or he is just making me feel bad?

i had my first serious boy friend and we broke up last night.. it was pretty bad and he made me feel ugly sad and just horrible. he told me that he didn't wanted to see me anymore and that he was sorry he didn't loved me but i was not that cute and my kisses where just not that good... (when we where together he couldn't stop kissing me hugging and just being around me) so do you think he was just making me feel bad or is it true ?
