How to make out for the first time?

I'm 16 years old and i've never made out with a guy before. i currently just got a boyfriend and he says that he wants to make out with me. but im so scared that i turn out to be a horrible kisser :/ so can anyone tell me how to make out? because i dont want to embarrass myself :S
