I have REALLY small lips?

Okay I'm 16 and I was born with very tiny lips (thanks to my parents) I don't know what to do and I feel so insecure about them and people make rude comments and remarks about them all the time. I don't think I have even meant anybody with smaller lips than mine! It's embarrassing. I even feel nervous to kiss sometimes even though I have been told that I'm a good kisser. I don't want to get botox when I'm older because I don't want to be fake, but is there any way I can make them look bigger? I've tried lip liner but I'm not very good at it and it looks weird when I do it so any suggestions by any good makeup artist?
