Subwoofer amp combination?

I have a standard cab S10, therefore, space is an issue. I am buying 2 12 inch memphis S class shallow mount subs and i'm thinking about a power acoustik 1800 watt peak 760 watt rms 2 channel 4 ohm amp. the subs are 1000 watt peak 500 watt rms. I'm buying a 4 gauge Memphis wiring kit and my dad is going to build a box. Has anyone tried this and/or how well will this combo work. I am pretty definite about the subs i'm going to get, but if anyone has any suggestions about the amp, however i'd like to stay around $200 for it. Also, is there anything else I would need to have before I get them installed? Thank you.
