How do you french kiss?

I'm a girlfriend of this great guy, and I want to tongue kiss him, but I'm inexperienced in that department. I was wondering if someone can give me like a template (of sorts) to help me out. Or maybe the bare minimum so I won't be called the worsts kisser ever >.< It will be greatly appreciated.
