Why did the jews reject the copy of torah 325BC..Septuagint..was because Christians used it?

The scrolls of the the Septuagint are dated 325 BC (time between Alexander the Great and the Roman Empire.) It was copied directly from the Torah at the temple mount by scribes commissioned by Pharoah Ptomly of Egypt. The Messoritic text is dated to about 1000 CE . Why did the Jews accept a translation that is from 1000CE rather then the pre-Chrisitan one from 325BC translated from the Torah on the temple mount? Is it because the Chrisitans adopted it as there scripture? There are some sugnificant diff between both text.
